Student Sponsorship

With a gift of $2,000 or more, you can sponsor a student at St. Aloysius Gonzaga High School. Your gift covers the annual cost of high school tuition, meals, textbooks, supplies, basic medical care, uniforms, school trips and other expenses. Students will write letters to their sponsors and share their St. Al’s experiences and gratitude. Sponsors will have an opportunity to send a letter and/or photo in reply to their student three times per year. Sponsors are welcome to renew their student sponsorship through the years of high school.

Please read the testimonial from a sponsor who recently visited the school.

Endowment Fund

On March 9, 2019 School of Hope Foundation lost our Board member, Social Media Director, fighter for justice and lifelong man for others when Cedric Asiavugwa perished in the tragic crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302. In the wake of these tragedies, School of Hope Foundation received $395,000 from the Boeing Community Investment Fund that was created to honor the victims by making charitable gifts in their name. These funds were used to create an endowment for the school. The interest is being used for scholarships for St. Al’s graduates following in Cedric’s footsteps to pursue law degrees.

Fundraising responsibility for St. Aloysius Gonzaga in the USA transitioned from USA Midwest Province of the Society of Jesuits to the School of Hope Foundation in July of 2017. School of Hope is grateful to the leadership of the Jesuits for its support since the inception of St. Aloysius, assisting in this transition and affirming that our partnership will continue in various ways. School of Hope Foundation is a registered 501c3 organization. Obtain a copy of our IRS letter here.
